Gong Teck, a memorial service that is done to celebrate the life of the deceased one
through the creation of merits & blessing for their ancestors, by showing
respect and gratitude to their loved ones.
The memorial service symbolises the successful and peaceful passing on
of the deceased from the living to the netherworld.
When is this done?
The memorial service is usually done on the 1st year,
and/or the 3rd year from the date of passing.
